Creative HE working group

About the group

This new NERUPI working group is designed as a space for colleagues working in both specialist and larger HEIs to discuss issues and share practice related to the design, evaluation and delivery of interventions to support access, success and progression in creative higher education.

Creative HE encompasses HE courses that provide specialised knowledge and degrees that can be considered a pipeline for the creative and cultural industries (CCIs) and training grounds for the future creative and cultural workforce. We welcome all colleagues working within this area to join the discussions.

Purpose

  • To provide a space for colleagues working with the unique challenges access and success work in creative HE creates
  • To support colleagues in the skills needed to evaluate Creative HE interventions across the life cycle
  • To enable members to have a space to share the findings of their evaluations
  • To enable colleagues to share relevant national policy information that impacts upon work in this area
  • To provide a collective voice related to creative HE
  • To be an active group that produces tangible outputs to support work in this area in the form of publications and events
