This first session for our new Creative HE working group will centre on providing a context for the work we hope to focus on in the group.

Two recent national reports State of the Arts and Making the Creative Majority will be introduced by Co-Leads James Rew (Leeds Conservatoire) and Tessa Read (University of the Arts London) which highlight challenges related to engagement with the arts both in education and more generally.

We will then focus on developing a shared agenda for moving work in the group forward. Each session will have a focus and follow a speaker and discussion format with the aim of creating a space for connection and dissemination with opportunities for members to share and discuss their work.
